Lash Fill in Batumi: Price, Time & Retention

September 19, 2026 · 12 min

Short trip to Batumi, a salty swim in the Black Sea, a bit of sun and nightlife - and suddenly your lashes need a quick rescue. I’m Olga, an independent lash artist in Batumi. If you need a fill while you’re here, this guide explains how pricing works in GEL, how much time to plan, and how to keep your extensions happy in our seaside climate so you can enjoy your vacation and still look camera-ready.

Where to get a reliable lash fill in Batumi

Batumi is compact: taxis are fast, and most tourist stays cluster along the Old Boulevard, New Boulevard, or Old Town. I work privately by appointment and share a pin via WhatsApp once we confirm a time. If you’re staying near the beach, schedule your fill either early morning before the day heats up or late afternoon/early evening. That timing gives your lashes a calm window after application and keeps you out of the strongest sun and humidity spikes.

For peace of mind, feel free to browse my client reviews and see the quality and style I’m known for. If you’re not sure whether you need a fill or a new set, send me a quick photo on WhatsApp - I’ll tell you what makes sense for your remaining time in Batumi.

Prices in GEL: fills vs fresh sets

Prices in Batumi are friendly compared to bigger European cities, and I keep them transparent. Full sets with me start at:

  • Classic 1:1 from 70 GEL
  • 2D from 95 GEL
  • 3D/mega from 110–130 GEL
  • LED lash lift from 80 GEL (no extensions; a lift for your natural lashes)

Fills are priced below a new set and depend on how many extensions are left, how long it has been since your last appointment, and the lash style (Classic vs 2D/3D). If you’re arriving with lashes done elsewhere, that’s fine - I do foreign fills as long as your previous work is healthy and compatible with my materials. For the latest numbers, check my current lash extension prices.

Tip for short stays: if your trip is only a few days and your set is still 60–70% full, a light fill is usually enough. If you’re here for two or more weeks, consider a deeper fill so you don’t worry about gaps mid-trip.

How long a fill takes in Batumi

Timing depends on how many lashes we’re restoring:

  • Express/top-up fill (recent set, minor gaps): about 45–60 minutes
  • Standard 2–3 week fill: about 60–90 minutes
  • Extended/foreign fill (heavier gaps or mixed work): about 90–120 minutes

For a brand-new set, plan 1.5–2.5 hours depending on style and density. If you’re squeezing this into a travel day - say between checkout and a train to Tbilisi - tell me your deadline. I’ll build the fill plan around your clock: which eye to start on, how to balance inner/outer corners, and what density to target so you leave polished even if we use a shorter window.

Retention in Batumi: the sea, the heat, and your routine

Black Sea life is wonderful for the soul, but salt, sunscreen, and summer humidity challenge lash longevity. Here’s how I protect your retention - from prep to aftercare - without killing your beach time:

Before your appointment

  • Arrive with clean lashes and no mascara or oily eye cream. If you just returned from the beach, rinse eyes with fresh water and pat dry before coming.
  • Avoid caffeine right before - less blinking helps me place precise fans faster, which improves retention.

Right after your fill

  • No swimming, sauna, or heavy sweat sessions for 24 hours. In Batumi heat, that means try not to plan your waterpark day immediately after your fill.
  • Keep steam minimal the first evening (skip a long hot shower).

For the rest of your stay

  • Salt and sunscreen: after the beach, rinse your lash line with fresh water as soon as you can. Salt crystals and oils are the top retention killers here.
  • Daily cleanse: use a lash-safe, oil-free foam cleanser. A 30-second cleanse at night removes sunscreen, sweat, and city dust.
  • Dry and brush: gently pat dry, then fluff with a clean spoolie once dry. Avoid brushing when wet.
  • Sleep smart: if your hotel pillow is tall and firm, try sleeping slightly on your back or use the edge of the pillow to avoid squashing outer corners.

If you want a quick refresher on technique, I keep a simple step-by-step in my lash aftercare guide.

Classic vs 2D/3D: which fill suits a trip?

For business travelers or minimalists who prefer something effortless for day and dinner, Classic 1:1 is the cleanest and fastest to refresh. It photographs well in Batumi’s bright seaside sun without looking heavy. If you’re here for nightlife, weddings, or lots of photos, a 2D or light 3D fill gives a soft, plush look that still feels beach-friendly.

Unsure which style you’re wearing right now? Open your camera and zoom in: if each natural lash holds a single extension, it’s Classic; if you see tiny fans with 2–3 ultra-fine fibers per natural lash, it’s volume. You can also compare with my quick overview in the lash extension types guide. And if your original set was very dense mega volume but you only need a short top-up before flying out, we can do a lighter-volume fill just to balance frames and corners.

Smart scheduling for tourists and expats

Here’s how I usually plan fills around the Batumi rhythm:

  • Day 1–2 arrival: if your set is already 2–3 weeks old, book a standard fill early in your stay so you’re photo-ready the whole trip.
  • Sea days: try not to swim within 24 hours after a fresh fill. Plan your fill the afternoon before a non-beach day, or the morning after you’ve had your swim.
  • Day trips (Mtirala, waterfalls): dust, wind, and sweat build up - schedule a fill the next morning, not the same day.
  • Work trips: early morning slots help you avoid noon heat and keep your calendar free. I can usually fit same-day bookings if you message me before lunch.

If you’re new to me, take two minutes to see what a Classic refresh looks like in my Classic eyelash extensions service and then check the pricing details.

What counts as a fill vs a new set?

Different artists set slightly different rules, but here’s how I decide, so you can plan your time and budget:

  • Time since your last appointment: up to about 3 weeks is usually a fill; past 4 weeks is often a new set because natural shedding plus daily wear leaves too few extensions to just “top up.”
  • Coverage left: if you have roughly 40–50% of extensions remaining with good attachment, that’s a fill. If you’re closer to 20–30% or the base work is grown-out and twisted, it’s safer and faster to remove and build a fresh set.
  • Quality of previous work: if the existing set is heavy, stuck-together, or applied with very thick glue, I’ll recommend a new set for your comfort and lash health.

Don’t worry - you don’t have to judge this yourself. Send me a well-lit photo straight on and from each side; I’ll advise whether a 60, 90, or 120-minute fill will do it, or if a fresh Classic/2D/3D set makes better sense for your trip.

LED lash lift as a low-maintenance option

If you prefer zero upkeep during a very short stay or your extensions are due for a break, consider an LED lash lift (from 80 GEL). It curls and opens your natural lashes, great for beach weeks with lots of sunscreen and swimming, and pairs nicely with a light mascara once you’re back home. It’s not a fill or extensions, but for some travelers it’s ideal if you’re in and out of Batumi in 48–72 hours.

Same-day booking and quick prep checklist

I do accept same-day fills when my schedule allows. WhatsApp is fastest. To save time and improve retention, please:

  • Arrive with clean, makeup-free lashes.
  • Avoid oils and heavy eye creams the night and morning before.
  • Bring any style notes or a selfie with your favorite look so we match it quickly.
  • Plan your beach/sauna time for the day after your fill window.

FAQs

- Can I swim in the Black Sea after a lash fill?

Give your lashes 24 hours before swimming to let the adhesive settle. After each swim, rinse your lash line with fresh water and cleanse gently that evening to remove salt and sunscreen.

- I had my last fill elsewhere. Will you do a foreign fill?

Yes, if the existing work is healthy. Send me photos; if the base is too grown out or stuck, I’ll suggest a refresh or new set so you leave comfortable and symmetrical.

- How often should I get a fill in Batumi’s humidity?

Most clients do well with 2–3 weeks between fills. In peak summer with lots of sea time, you may prefer slightly earlier, especially for lighter Classics. Good cleansing stretches retention.

- Which style lasts longer: Classic or 2D/3D?

Longevity depends more on application quality, your natural lash cycle, and aftercare. Volume fans can disguise gaps better as they grow, but Classic can last beautifully with proper care.

- Where can I see styles and prices?

Start with my Classic service overview and check current lash extension prices. For care tips, see the aftercare guide.
